Upcoming Summer Events in Yorba Linda You Don’t Want to Miss

With summer in full swing, there is a lot to do and look forward to! Here are three fun summer activities and events in Yorba Linda that you won’t want to miss!

Movies in the Park

Right here in Yorba Linda, the city has planned movies in the park throughout the summer. This is sure to be a fun and memorable summer activity for you and your friends or family! The movies are planned as follows:

  • Saturday, August 21 at Hurless Barton Park – Abominable
  • Saturday, September 18 at Hurless Barton Park – Onward
  • Saturday, October 16 at Hurless Barton Park – Cars 3

Bring a blanket and a picnic, and come enjoy this fun summer activity put on by the city! And did we mention that it’s free? This is something that you definitely won’t want to miss out on! More information can be found here on the city page.

In addition, this summer in Orange County, the OC Parks Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema Film Series are back! From June 18 to September 10, there will be 10 free concerts and 13 free movie showings. The concerts will be on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m., with the music beginning at 6:00 p.m. The movie nights will be on Fridays at 6:00 p.m., with the movie beginning at sundown. 4th of July Spectacular

If you are looking for a fun way to spend your Fourth next year, you’re in luck! Yorba Linda’s Parks and Recreation Department throws an annual 4th of July Spectacular fireworks show ! The event will include food, activities, music, and, of course, fireworks! 

Farmers Market

The Orange County Great Park Farmers Market is a great summer activity near Yorba Linda! It occurs every Sunday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m., weather permitting. This market is full of fresh produce and fun! Location and more information can be found here .
